Senior Analyst – Commissions

Salary range is:

$68,096.00 - $90,000.00

This position is bonus and/or commission eligible.

The RoleThe Senior Analyst – Commissions position is responsible for reviewing individual contracts as well as customer contracts to understand related terms and incorporate relevant information into a template for calculation of monthly/quarterly sales commissions. The position will work heavily with Excel reporting and will manage strict deadlines while working closely with senior leadership in many areas including sales operations and finance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review/interpret customer contracts and sales incentive award plans which outline commission provisions.
• Utilize contract data to update commission payment templates and create new templates as necessary.
• Work closely with accounting and finance teams on accruals and financial forecasts.
• Maintain accurate trackable record of commissions.
• Aid with creation of monthly reporting and identify/resolve errors, as necessary.
• Review commission payment reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Resolve reconciliation issues and questions related to commission bookings and payment.
• Analyze sales bonus payments to assist accounting team in determining financial impact per ASC 606.
• Perform other tasks as directed by supervisor.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a financial analysis environment
• Experience with commission calculation process and commission software preferred
• Strong experience working with MS Excel manipulating data.
• Accounting degree preferred 
• Experience working in a team environment
• Must be well organized and possess a great attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
