As a Sr. Analyst you will have the opportunity to develop strong relationships with our Employer Group Waiver Plan (EGWP) clients, while assisting these entities with enrollment and eligibility needs for their Medicare Part D (Med D) member populations. As the Sr. Analyst, you will maintain a solid understanding and continual working knowledge of Medicare Guidelines, EDI protocols, and the enrollment processes that directly impact member enrollment. The Sr. Analyst will contribute to assisting and managing special projects, new client implementations, re-implementations, and/or automation efforts.
As a Senior Analyst, your success will be driven by exceeding client satisfaction. Using a consultative approach across specific PBM and other Operations as needed to define problems, lead process improvement efforts, and ultimately manage process change with business stakeholders to ensure our internal and external customer needs are being met. The ability to influence and deliver results for our clients will be a key factor to your success in this role.
The roles and responsibilities of the Sr. Analyst include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Manage client enrollment implementations and project plans within department expectations to execute timely and successful deployment efforts
- Facilitate and document internal and client/vendor meetings, while presenting status updates and making critical decisions associated with to client projects and implementations
- Gather and interpret technical requirements for coordination of client file mapping and other critical implementation activities
- Clearly communicate with and influence clients on strategic enrollment practices in order to ensure successful implementation and future management of the plan by the client
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, vendors, and internal partners
- Lead and perform activities to service clients with immediate resolution of client inquiries
- Research and formulate solutions for both routine and complex enrollment issues
- Manage internal and client/vendor enrollment issue escalations, along with Welcome Season activities
- Provide mentorship and guidance to other Analysts levels to assist with CMS guidance interpretation, complex client issues, questions, technical training, inquires and/or escalations
- Lead mid-to-large-scale operational projects, including new client implementations that require management of multiple project phases from end-to-end
- Facilitate inter-departmental process reviews/training to achieve successful outcomes
- Drive and deliver results timely and accurately in a finished form, with minimal supervision
- Create and/or update client documentation, policies and procedures
*Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Healthcare, PBM, or insurance experience
- Prior experience in Medicare Part-D plan administration or operations, or with EGWP plans
- 2+ years of prior experience with MS Excel, including some experience utilizing VLookup tables or Pivot Tables
- 1+ years of business experience in client-facing relations or account management
- 1+ years of developing business requirements and/or translating client requirements into business documentation
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, and keen ability to consultatively influence others in order to gain buy-in from clients on the most optimal solutions
- Highly effective presentation skills, both over the phone and in-person
- Must demonstrate strong analytical abilities, strategic thinking skills, and technical aptitude, with the drive to learn and grow technical subject-matter expertise
- Ability to make sound business decisions based on instructions, policy and procedures
- Demonstrated success dealing with ambiguity, and ability to learn on-the-fly to understand and solve problems
- Highest level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adjusting priorities as needed and meeting deadlines
*Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience utilizing Secure File Transfer Portal (SFTP), Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) formats and file transfer protocols
- Prior experience using MS PowerPoint and Visio
We support a hybrid work environment. If selected and you live near a suitable work location, you may be expected to comply with the hybrid work policy. Under the policy, all hires for in scope populations should be placed into a hybrid or office-based location, working onsite three days a week.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$46,988.00 - $112,200.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
