Job Description:
JCI is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Analyst – Automation Testing with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our testing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and performance of our software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance testing processes and provide insights on software quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for various applications and systems.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and develop testing strategies.
- Execute automated test cases and analyze results to identify defects and improve test coverage.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality aspects of software designs.
- Document testing processes, results, and defects in a clear and concise manner.
- Continuously improve automation frameworks and processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide training and support to junior team members on testing methodologies and tools.
- Stay updated with the latest testing tools and automation trends to enhance the testing strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in automation testing or software testing.
- Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, QTP, or similar frameworks.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for writing automated tests.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
