The position of Senior Analyst Accounting and External Reporting includes responsibility for reporting related to 6 Polish legal entities. As a Senior Analyst you will be a business partner for external and internal service providers within statutory, US GAAP and tax accounting area.
You will directly collaborate with the AER (Accounting and External Reporting) Lead in all activities related to US GAAP and statutory accounting deliverables.
How you will contribute:
- Coordinate and support statutory financial statements preparation process in accordance with Polish statutory accounting regulations (6 standalone financial statements, 1 consolidated financial statement)
- Business partner for internal teams (VAT, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, Accounts Payable) and external providers (statutory reporting)
- Supervision of the USGAAP reporting (monthly reporting)
- Support statutory and tax audits, provide information on auditor's request.
- Monitor accounting books daily, review accuracy of correctness of the accounting entries
- Prepare various reports and analysis on request
- Coordinate regulatory changes implementation (i.e. KSeF, SAF-T)
- Collaborate with the multinational teams in the implementation and execution of the international projects
What you will bring:
- Practical knowledge of Polish accounting standards and experience in preparation/audit of financial statements
- Accounting or financial background - university degree
- At least 3 years of experience in finance/ accounting independent positions
- Audit background would be an advantage
- English language is a must
- Reliable, trustworthy, proactive with a "can do" attitude and a high sense of responsibility to deliver the expected results
- Knowledge of SAP & experience in working for international companies would be an advantage
- Strong communication skills
The responsibilities of this position are performed within the framework of a regional business model that is defined and managed by Mondelēz Europe GmbH, Switzerland.
