In this role, you'll be at the forefront of designing and developing modern, cloud-based AI/ML technologies for our corporate tax solutions. You will work on a fast-paced team of researchers and engineers, driving high-business-value software from prototypes to production, and collaborating with our distributed teams.
Some of the things you will be doing:

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and AI algorithms to solve complex business problems in the tax domain.
• Collaborate proactively with a distributed team, including engineers, researchers, quality assurance, project managers, and product managers.
• Participate in daily standups to stay aligned with team goals and progress.
• Write quality, efficient code for new AI/ML-based features and resolve issues.
• Conduct code reviews and suggest improvements. Share responsibility for unit and integration testing automation.
• Stay current with cutting-edge technologies, experiment with and implement new advancements, especially with a focus on AI/ML.
• Coach and mentor junior engineers and software developers.

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?

• 6+ years of software design and development experience, with a strong focus on building solutions that integrate AI/ML.
• Proven experience in leveraging and implementing machine learning models to build solutions (e.g., supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning).
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Experience with AI/ML libraries, such as PyTorch, scikit-learn, FastAPI, and Gradio
• Experience with cloud-based AI/ML services (Azure Machine Learning, AWS SageMaker, or Google Cloud AI Platform). Azure is a plus.
• Familiarity with graph databases and knowledge graphs (Neo4j, CosmosDB, etc.)
• Experience with microservice-based architectures and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Container Apps, or AKS).
• Knowledge of C#, .NET, ASP.NET, TypeScript, and React is advantageous.
• Understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
• Experience with MLOps practices, including model versioning, deployment, and monitoring.
• Expertise in object-oriented design, patterns, and programming.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Clear, concise communication skills and a passion for AI/ML product development.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a dynamic, diverse team environment.
• Track record of delivering high-quality AI/ML solutions in fast-paced environments.
