Senior AI/ML Developer (Python, TensorFlow & Data Analytics)

Software Requirements:

We are seeking an experienced and talented Senior AI/ML Developer to join our team. This role is pivotal in the development and implementation of Olympus AI/ML products, focusing on scalable and impactful solutions.

Overall Responsibilities:

• Develop machine learning applications that align with project requirements and business objectives.
• Collect, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to ensure data quality and relevance for modeling, including predictive analytics and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
• Research, test, and implement advanced algorithms to enhance model accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on functional design, process design, prototyping, testing, and deployment into production environments.
• Conduct experiments, evaluate models, and optimize hyperparameters to improve performance.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation to ensure knowledge transfer and maintainability.

Technical Skills:

• AI/ML Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience applying AI/ML to practical applications.
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms, including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning techniques.
• Programming Languages:
  • Proficiency in Python and experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Data Processing Tools:
  • Experience with data processing tools like Pandas, NumPy, and ETL pipelines.
• Big Data Technologies:
  • Familiarity with big data tools such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
• Computing:
  • Understanding of distributed computing and parallel processing.
• Version Control:
  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Design Principles:
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented and functional design principles.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering and design.
• 3+ years of experience applying AI/ML to practical uses.

Day-to-Day Activities:

• Engage in the development of machine learning models and applications.
• Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and design functional and process solutions.
• Preprocess and analyze data to ensure its readiness for modeling.
• Experiment with different algorithms and techniques to enhance model performance.
• Maintain documentation and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
