OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Senior Advisor for RMNCAH will provide technical assistance to support Ministry of Health (MOH) and County Health Teams (CHTs), District Health Teams, facilities and other local partners in the areas of RMNCAH, , and quality improvement (QI) as required by project activities.
- The capacity building support provided by the Senior Advisor for RMNCAH will project RMNCAH, , and Quality Improvement (QI) processes and activities, delivering reliable, high quality, and timely results.
- She/he will make written contributions to project workplans, reports, and technical deliverables.
- At the direction of the DCOP, they will represent the LHS project in relevant technical working groups, technical meetings, and meetings with GOL counterparts, USAID, and other organizations.
- Continually scan the project environment and ensure effective dialogue and relationships with project client(s), beneficiaries and other local and international stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong working relations with key stakeholders, beneficiaries, prime and subcontractors, suppliers and partners. Provide effective and timely responses to inquiries and concerns.
- Ensure effective project collaboration, coordination and internal partnerships with other MSH projects in country to build synergies across programs for maximum impact.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A degree in medicine, nursing, midwifery, public health or a related field. Postgraduate degree preferred.
- Clinical experience, as either a medical doctor, nurse, or midwife, with experience working on RMNCAH topics, including QI.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience working in Liberia on health service delivery, health systems strengthening, service delivery support, and/or QI.
- Of which, at least 5 years of experience in project implementation experience.
