Profile Description
- Supports the preparation of the Group’s consolidated quarterly and annual US GAAP financial statements and related deliverables.
- Prepares and posts journal entries throughout the quarter as well as during quarter-end close, including accruals, expenses, and other adjustments.
- Assists with the reconciliation of inter-company balances and maintenance of the intercompany module.
- Assists with audits (external and internal) and preparing appropriate audit work papers.
- Maintains records of the organization's financial activity and controls in accordance with GAAP and organizational standards.
- Provides support to the accounting policy function, including preparing accounting memos on key accounting issues and supporting the implementation of new accounting standards and guidance.
- Assist with report maintenance within Workiva and Oracle..
- Performs special projects and ad hoc tasks as needed.
- Understanding of statutory results (of originating countries) and accounting requirements
- Provides support to Expense Management, ServeCo, Treasury and Investment accounting teams.
Knowledge & Experience
- Four (4) years of accounting/finance experience, with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant insurance, investment or public accounting experience.
- Excellent excel and data analysis skills.
- Excellent communications skills
- Strong written and analytical skills
- Project management skills advantageous
- Internationally recognized qualification (CPA/CA/ACCA/ACAetc.) is required.
- Prior experience with Oracle and Workiva is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of US GAAP accounting and reporting requirements is essential.
- Excellent presentation skills, both verbal and written to interact knowledgeably and with impact both internally and externally.

Location: West Chester, PA and New York, NY preferred (Hybrid - 2-3 days per week in the office), or open to Atlanta, GA.
