Senior Accountant

Our Finance Team develops cross-functional finance solutions that support the whole organization.

Our experts support the planning, prioritization, and implementation of daily and strategic initiatives and tasks, acting as business partners, an essential part of the Finance Team's role is also providing guidance on accounting or financial matters, sharing broad experience and an independent economic perspective.

👩‍💻👨‍💻What you’ll do:

• Perform the daily accounting activity in NetSuite
• Coordinate the month-end and year-end closing, assist with annual audit and investigate, and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance
• Manage and improve our accounts receivable, prepare financial analyses and reports and prepare federal, state, local, and special tax returns
• Continuously improve our accounting systems and procedures and guide the transition from external to in-house accounting and performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned
• Support with the automation of several processes within Finance and Accounting.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Working knowledge of tax laws and GAAP
• Ability to train and manage staff
• Ability to work with little to no supervision
• Structured and detail-oriented work style
• Experience in Payment industries (FinTech, BNPL) is a plus
