We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team on a fixed-term basis. In this role, you will ensure smooth and timely preparation of financial reports (internal/external), and tax declarations, such as VAT and CIT, support bank-related activities, perform financial closing activities and account reconciliations, consult accounting and business colleagues and work alongside Chief Accountant to improve financial procedures as well as assist with various tasks.
In this position, you will be able to work in a hybrid working model from our Office in Kaunas city center or form your home office.
About the job:

Preparation of tax declarations and reports, such as VAT and CIT, statistical reports

Supporting bank related activities (payment to suppliers, business cards) and assisting the Treasury Team with various requests

Managing audit activities by gathering and delivering required information and documentation

Conducting internal audits for internal control purposes and to comply with current accounting standards

Performing month/quarter/year-end accounting activities

Participation in financial projects such as upgrade of Concur system and bank change

Assisting Chief Accountant in implementing and sustaining internal financial controls, as well as assisting with various tasks
About you:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
-
2-5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a production company

Strong knowledge of local financial accounting standards and legal requirements for financial and tax accounting

Proficiency in accounting and annual reporting practices
-
Experience working with accounting systems (SAP experience is a plus)

Advanced skills in MS Excel

Proficiency in English, both written and spoken

Strong analytical abilities

Experience in an international work environment is a plus
