In 2023 we grew from almost 100 Loopers to over 250 people. And that’s a number we would have to keep updating every month, as we are planning to double the team once again, this year.
Our headquarters are based in Antwerp, but with hubs in Amsterdam, Shanghai, and New York, we’re dotted all over the globe.
Not to brag about it, but we’ve recently won the EY Scale up of the year award, the Deloitte Fast50 award (for the second year in a row) and a couple of other amazing (international) prices. The New York Times named us ‘best earplugs for concerts’ and thousands of noise-sensitive customers call us a ‘life changer’.

Shape Loop’s Financial Future While Growing Your Own.
This is your chance to lead the end-to-end accounting process of a fast-growing global company. You’ll immerse yourself in the daily operations, gaining exposure to Loop’s finance across all global entities. You'll take ownership of essential tasks while working alongside a passionate team, making this role more than just numbers—it's about driving the future of Loop’s financial operations.
As a Senior Accountant, you’ll ensure financial precision and timely reporting.
You’ll manage and oversee the entire accounting process, ensuring smooth and accurate close activities, from reconciling accounts to preparing adjusting entries, always keeping documentation tight and complete. You'll also be responsible for tax filings, ensuring that VAT, GST, and Corporate Tax returns are not only accurate but always submitted on time. It’s a role where your expertise will directly impact the company's compliance and overall financial health.
Your other responsibilities:
- Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve accounting procedures.
- Implement tools and systems to support the company's scaling needs.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights.
- Mentor junior accounting team members and foster a collaborative environment.
How you’ll succeed as a Senior Accountant.
To excel in this role, you’ll need strong leadership skills and the ability to manage priorities while maintaining attention to detail. You’ll often juggle various tasks, from leading the team through monthly closes to partnering with other departments to provide financial insights. Your goal is not only to maintain the status quo but to elevate Loop’s accounting processes.
These key competences will set you up for success:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA is a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of GAAP/IFRS principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, ExactOnline, QuickBooks) and Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- In 2023, we won Scale-up of the year (according to EY — awarded December 2023), and we want you to scale and grow with us.
