About the role
As a Senior Accountant at Fordham you will:

Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, companies, and SMSFs.

Prepare and implement tax planning strategies and initiatives.
-
Coordinate with your team leader on the various phases of an engagement, assisting manager and partner with business performance, structuring, wealth, and asset protection engagements.

Supervise, coach, and delegate work to juniors in your team, promoting an environment of collaboration and teamwork.
About you
We’re looking for someone with:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or commerce, and either studying or have completed CA or CPA.

Approximately 3-5 years’ experience in Australian public practice.

Exposure to large business structures, and complex and diverse engagements.

Good understanding of tax issues such as Division 7A, GST, FBT and SMSFs.

Experience in supervising and delegating work to junior staff.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
