Summary & Purpose of This Role
As a key member of our Accounting Centre of Expertise (CoE) team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of US GAAP and statutory for entities across the EMEA region. The CoE team provides expertise in accounting matters, supports tax compliance, and collaborates with stakeholders to drive financial and accounting processes.
This role is responsible for financial statements, supporting external audits, and ensuring compliance and statutory requirements.
What Will You Be Doing?
Key Responsibilities

Preparing financial statements for entities in scope (UK, Ireland, Malta) and supporting the external audit process to ensure timely completion.

Supporting corporate income tax (CIT) compliance alongside external tax advisors and internal tax teams.

Completing US GAAP, statutory, and tax accounting and reporting accurately and on time for relevant entities.

Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, internal and external audit requirements, and local rules and regulations.

Collaborating closely with Global Business Solutions (GBS) and Service Delivery partners to execute end-to-end finance processes.

Resolving complex accounting and tax issues.

Participating in local, regional, and global projects, providing financial support as required.

Advocating for the finance function within the organization.

Maintaining a focus on continuous process improvement.
Additional Responsibilities

Traveling internationally as required (although this will be very limited).

Working additional hours at critical times (e.g., month-end) and, on an outstanding basis, during public holidays.
Who Are We Looking For?
Ideal Candidate
-
5-10 years of experience in accounting or audit of financial statements, with proven experience in a large multinational environment and/or external audit firm.

Strong knowledge of US GAAP and tax matters.
-
Excellent communication skills, with a diplomatic, flexible, and "can-do" mind-set.

Proficiency in strong reporting tools and MS Word, PowerPoint, with main focus on Excel (advanced knowledge required).

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance/Accounting and/or qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in JDE is an advantage.

Proficiency in a second European language is beneficial.
