About the Role
EQT Exeter are looking for a Senior Accountant to join the fund accounting team in Hong Kong for a 9 month contract maternity cover.
Role & Responsibilities
- Review Fund financial statements and capital account statements under US GAAP
- Review special purpose vehicles financials under accounting standards of different
- jurisdictions
- Support the company in optimizing our financial transactions
- Liaise with external auditors for interim and year end audit
- Liaise with lenders on fund credit facility
- Review capital calls and distributions to investors
- Monitor fund cashflows, credit facility, accounts payable and treasury process
- Response to investor enquiries in a promptly manners
- Assist in preparing materials for ad-hoc reporting requests
- Review supporting schedules for K-1
- Work closely with the investment and other team to support the operations of the deal process such as setting up entities, fund structures, deal execution support, portfolio monitoring etc.
Requirements/ Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA qualified
- At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Preferably from the Big4 or banking industry with exposure to private equity fund or
- Experience in real estate fund administration areas
- Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
