Senior Account Manager, OnBoard - Responsibilities

  • Lead account programs, such as product launches, announcements, speaking/awards etc. 
  • Develop informed and targeted media plans and campaigns
  • Drive media results through outreach and creative/proactive story ideation 
  • Support in managing internal account teams and mentor junior staff 
  • Produce and/or edit written content needed for client campaigns - press messaging, pitches, briefing documents, media lists, blogs, etc.
  • Develop and (in some cases) deliver client presentations - reporting, planning, etc 


Senior Account Manager, OnBoard - Skills & Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in PR, communications, journalism or similar area
  • At least 4 years client or agency PR/communications experience 
  • Passionate about startups, with a demonstrated ability to build founder/client relationships
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, showcasing an appetite to help grow OnBoard into the best startup PR offering around
  • Results-focused, able to drive scrappy and successful startup PR campaigns
  • Strong presentation and verbal communication skills, able to speak confidently and effectively with founders and decision makers 
  • Detail oriented and focus on setting and managing to a high bar
  • A creative chameleon who can flex their storytelling muscle across industries
  • Brilliant writing skills (we’ll want to see samples)
  • Experience or demonstrated readiness to supervise more junior staff
  • Self-starter work ethic

Compensation decisions are determined using a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, and education or certifications. If we extend an offer for employment, we will consider all individual qualifications. Salary ranges for this position are between $90,000 and $115,000 annually. Strange Brew Strategies also offers additional compensation programs such as annual cash bonuses and generous benefits.
