Job Summary
The Senior Academic Coordinator Serves as liaison between the Associate Dean and undergraduate faculty, students, and other departments of the College to ensure the accurate scheduling of business courses. Ensure compliance with ECFA contract, including scheduling comprehensive faculty evaluations and teaching loads. Generate course assessment data for UG courses. Facilitate recruitment of adjunct faculty, process hiring documents, onboarding, and issue teaching contracts.
Participate in student advising and coordinate major field testing and thesis assessment. Recruit and supervise work-study students.
Key Outcomes
70% of Time: Accurate scheduling of GSB courses, support student enrollment and facilitate administration of ECFA requirements, and promote School offerings

Under the direction of the Associate Dean, academic year course and curriculum planning.

Draft semester scheduling grid, organize faculty schedules, and finalize classroom assignments.

Draft, edit, and finalize the Course of Study according to the Registrar’s Production and Student Registration Schedule.

Manage course enrollment numbers and advise the Associate Dean regarding adjustments in schedule, faculty/adjunct assignments, and course cancelations.

Manage first-year batch registration, monitor advising loads, and GSB student lists. Troubleshoot enrollment issues.

Coordinate annual catalog changes and promote new course and degree offerings via print and social media.

Facilitates administration of ECFA agreement including scheduling faculty comprehensive evaluations, list of courses to be evaluated, schedule faculty classroom visits.

Coordinate and administer student major field testing, and report data.

Coordinate Senior Thesis Assessment, generate assessment tools, collect data, and report results.
20 % of Time: Adjunct Faculty

Assist the Associate Dean with adjunct faculty recruitment

Submit Adjunct Faculty new hire paperwork

Onboard new adjunct faculty and staff

Create adjunct faculty budget and issue adjunct faculty contracts.

Issue faculty overload teaching contracts in compliance with the ECFA contract.

Schedule and support adjunct faculty training, monthly check-ins, and semester-long support.
10 % of Time: Student Advising

Advise up to 20 students per semester.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in academic administration, student services, or related fields.

Experience with course scheduling, faculty recruitment, or managing academic programs is highly desirable.
