To reinforce our development team we are looking for a Interfaces Software Developer

Roles and responsibilities
- Development interfaces between our Molis laboratory software and external systems (analysers, hospital information systems, etc.)
- Assist deployment for installations
- Level 3 support
- Technical documentation
- Follow the best practices and coding rules of the developers and make proposals to improve them
- Work closely with colleagues in development, QA and documentation. Understands that testing and quality are not the sole responsibility of testers
Required skills and experience
- Master's or engineer’s degree in computer science (or equivalent)
- Experience (5+ years) is a plus
- Knowledge of classical programming
- Experience in one or more of the following:
- Communication protocols (HL7, ASTM, XML, xDT, HPRIM, FHIR...)
- Uniface
- C
- Caché Object Script
- Linux scripts
General skills
- Results-oriented and proactive
- Team player with good communication skills, shares information, reports on time, accepts other opinions and responds constructively to criticism
- Operates independently, but gets help when needed
- Does not give up when difficulties arise, does not lose control under pressure
- Understands and pushes the customer's point of view
- Open to change and continuous learning
- Fluency in English
- Knowledge of at least one of Belgium's three national languages (French, German and/or Dutch)
