We are looking for a hands-on leader with proven success in media and advertising sales to join Townsquare as a Selling Director of Sales. This is a management position with a focus on driving revenue, leading by example and building a culture of success.

Townsquare is a media, entertainment and digital marketing solutions company principally focused on small and mid-sized markets across the U.S. Our local media assets include 354 radio stations and more than 400+ local websites in 74 U.S. Markets, including local Butte KXTL, KAAR, DAVE FM 107.7, and 95.5 KMBR.

About the Selling Director of Sales Opportunity:

As the Selling Director of Sales, you will serve as a trusted resource and mentor for your team of Account Executives, supporting them in closing deals and expanding their client portfolios. Your primary responsibility will be to lead by example in identifying, qualifying, and securing new business opportunities while managing and growing client relationships. You will actively engage in direct selling, ensuring clients' needs and objectives are met while driving revenue growth. This fast-paced, client-facing role requires balancing team leadership with hands-on selling, managing multiple clients and opportunities daily, and fostering a culture of collaboration and success.

Responsibilities:

Selling

  • Drive revenue growth by cultivating new business, expanding key accounts, and providing tailored, results-driven advertising solutions.
  • Build strong partnerships with clients and agencies, acting as a trusted marketing advisor and leveraging industry expertise.
  • Manage the entire sales process, from pipeline management to campaign optimization, ensuring client satisfaction and measurable results.

Managing

  • Lead the sales team to exceed revenue targets through strategic goal-setting, accountability, and seamless execution across all channels.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and training on digital products and industry trends to elevate team performance.
  • Represent the company to clients and the community, fostering partnerships that enhance growth and brand visibility.

Recruiting

  • Recruit, train, and retain high-performing Account Executives, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
  • Identify and develop emerging talent to strengthen the team and ensure long-term success.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of sales management experience, preferably in digital and/or broadcast media, with a proven track record of exceeding sales goals and securing new business.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing solutions and consultative selling, with experience setting and holding teams accountable to sales metrics.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to craft compelling proposals and deliver persuasive presentations.
  • Highly driven and competitive, with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle (required).
  • BA/BS degree (preferred)
