Job Description:
Poshmark is hiring for a Seller Acquisition Manager to help lead our exciting new growth initiative, Poshmark Consignment. With Consignment, we will grow our community by making selling on Poshmark easier and more accessible than ever, while also increasing the earning potential of our sellers. This role will be highly cross-functional, partnering closely with Product and Growth Marketing, Seller Experience, PR, Business Development, and more to drive business growth.
This role brings together Localized Marketing, Community Recruitment, and Business Development. As a Seller Acquisition Manager, you will be focused on growing the community of Closet Partners, sellers who sell on behalf of others in Poshmark’s new Consignment Network.
You will drive the localized marketing and recruitment strategy for new Closet Partners, unlocking growth within the current Poshmark community as well as in new markets. You will build a playbook and process for recruitment and activation, continuously testing and iterating marketing tactics, acquisition strategies, funnel optimization, and community engagement channels to drive efficient growth. Finally, in addition to partnering with cross-functional teams to scale recruiting and onboarding for Closet Partners, you will play a critical leadership role on the cross-functional Consignment go-to-market team as we expand to new markets.
The ideal Seller Acquisition Manager:

Has experience in Sales, Marketing, Strategy, Business Development, Community Management or Consulting.

Has successfully launched and scaled businesses or initiatives in new markets

Proven track record of developing and executing on market growth and engagement strategies

Has experience developing strategy, testing plans, and launch processes that directly impact business metrics, and interfacing with people at all levels including C-level executives.

Has a high degree of customer focus and empathy with exceptional communication skills
-
Is flexible and open to adapting their work to a high degree of ambiguity as the business evolves

Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to design and manage multiple workstreams and processes to deliver outcomes
Responsibilities:

Create and lead our Closet Partner recruitment funnel in partnership with cross-functional leaders and business teams
-
Iterate and improve our recruitment plans and process to hit our goals through acquisition strategy, cross-channel optimization, and testing focused on maximizing efficiency and volume

Build a localized playbook for Closet Partner outreach, recruitment, and onboarding to ensure measurable, scalable results

Collaborate with leaders and stakeholders on core messaging and value propositions around Closet Partner growth, and helping shape Poshmark’s strategy as we evolve our Consignment business

Communicate critical feedback and insights from our Poshmark community and local markets to the broader team and advocate for our sellers.

Lead Closet Partner recruitment cycle in our first Consignment market

Design, test, and iterate on core messaging, tactics, and programming to convert and grow Closet Partners and deliver on business goals

Develop replicable and scalable launch strategies and playbooks for Closet Partner growth in additional markets

Partner with cross-functional teams to identify product and business opportunities to accelerate our Closet Partner growth and program success

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, or related field

3-5 years experience in Sales, Marketing, Strategy, Business Development, Community Management, or Consulting.

A positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative and evolving business environment

Thrives in an external facing role and confident interacting with local businesses, current Poshmark sellers, marketing agencies, and potential leads

Willingness to travel (up to 25% of time)

This is an in-office position with requirement of 3 days in office weekly

Experience with Salesforce a plus
Salary Range:
$102,000.00 - $145,000.00 Annual
