Purpose: To develop, scale, and execute PTC solution implementation best practices globally across PTC, it’s Partners, and customers. Provide deep Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) subject matter expertise and implementation leadership across the customer lifecycle that is aligned to PTC’s customer needs and strategic priorities.

Description: The newly formed PTC PLM Hub is looking for a senior, action-oriented Windchill PLM Implementation Consultant to join our growing team of inter-disciplinary leaders. This individual will be a strong PLM subject matter expert (SME) responsible for services implementation leadership across the customer lifecycle, providing PLM domain focused SME support for key customer implementations globally. The role includes the creation and scaling of implementation best practices globally across PTC, PTC’s partners, and customers as a member of the governing body of the PLM Community of Practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive Implementation Services Attachment: Support Business Solution Managers on pre-sales opportunities in developing post-sale service offerings in key strategic global accounts
  • Advisory Services: Provide advisory services and mentorship for PTC partners when requested by our Digital Thread Advisory Services organization
  • Field Readiness, Continuous Improvement, and PLM Hub-Segment Interlock Support: Play leadership/advisory role in the Windchill PLM New Product Introduction process, technical enablement, PTC Partner Hub, and Field-PLM Segment feedback process
  • Best Practice Development and Scale: Provide Windchill PLM implementation subject matter expertise to Service Offer Management and Technical Enablement teams in support of best practice development and dissemination
  • Implementation Frameworks & Accelerators: Recommend the required frameworks, best practices, and accelerators to efficiently implement Windchill PLM, and work with our Service Offer Management organization to build the implementation service offerings for use in the field
  • Partner Support: Development of other needed documentation and enablement required to support PTC Partners
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Provide PLM subject matter expertise across a range of internal and customer-facing cross-functional Digital Thread/Digital Transformation initiatives.
  • Community of Practice Evangelism: Share PLM/industry specific expertise throughout the PLM Community of Practice, Digital Thread Advisory Services, and PTC Implementation Partners
  • Customer Escalation Support: Act as an advisor on escalated customer accounts

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience deploying/implementing PTC Windchill PLM solutions
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Strong domain experience in PLM and deep understanding of PTC’s Windchill PLM solutions and implementation services
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • High competency in building and maintaining trusted advisor relationships with customers and internal teams
  • Proven and demonstrable track record of leading/facilitating successful Windchill PLM customer deployments
  • Strong problem-solving, consulting, and application/solution design skills
  • Ability to think strategically, critically, and analytically
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of an inter-disciplinary, cross-functional, and high-performing team
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced global environment

  • Demonstrable subject matter expertise in Medical Technology and Lifesciences, Electronics and High-Tech, Automotive, Federal, Aerospace, and Defense, and/or Industrial industry verticals
  • Engineering, manufacturing, quality, service, and/or software development domain experience
  • Technical proficiency in any of PTC’s ALM, AR, CAD, IOT, and/or SLM solutions
  • Technical sales/pre-sales or business development experience
  • Strong business acumen
  • High degree of comfort with senior management/executive engagement
