As a Compliance Reporting Analyst within our Securities Services Operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients' investments adhere to their guidelines. You will engage directly with clients, providing transparency and timely updates, while interpreting investment mandates to build compliance rules. Your work will help us maintain high standards of service and compliance, impacting both our firm and the wider financial community. Job responsibilities:
- Monitor post-trade activities to ensure compliance with investment guidelines.
- Investigate and resolve any compliance breaches with stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear and timely updates.
- Interpret investment mandates to develop compliance rules.
- Collaborate with clients to implement and monitor compliance rules.
- Understand and address servicing issues with stakeholders.
- Stay informed about industry practices and evolving regulations.
- Apply business acumen to identify and solve compliance challenges.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Sciences, Business, or related disciplines
- At least 5 years of experience in Fund Services, Asset Management, Compliance, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Bloomberg, and compliance systems.
- Fluency in Mandarin to communicate with Greater China clients
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Experience in compliance rule interpretation and breach investigation and resolution.
- Knowledge of financial instruments, including derivatives.
- Strong client servicing skills.
- Experience with logic-based system coding.
- Comprehensive understanding of compliance mandate monitoring and reporting.
