Job Summary:
As a Product Management Vice President on the Depositary Receipts (DR) Product team, you will oversee various business development initiatives, including product and new market expansion. This position within the DR Group will require interface with key partner constituencies, in particular risk, compliance, legal and other internal control functions, as you research, develop and articulate new business initiatives and work to gain requisite approval for these projects. Additionally, you will formulate the DR Group's response to regulatory and tax changes both in the U.S. and in our issuer home markets in addition to identifying related opportunities and mitigating uncovered risks.
Job Responsibilities:
- Help with the new product and market development process, scoping and sizing each initiative and responding to feedback and requirements from legal, risk, operations and other key constituencies through the New Business Initiative process
- Initiate the review of new technologies (e.g. blockchain) to identify potential use cases for DRs
- Initiate investment initiatives in partnership with product development technology and operations teams (e.g., business case development, website enhancement, annual budgeting, data integrity, progress monitoring)
- Proactively explore large language models (LLMs), and identify and implement solutions to augment business processes and reporting
- Provide oversight on end to end operational processing and technology enhancements for the DR book.
- Work closely with legal and compliance resources to analyze and review new regulations and determine impact to DR business
- Monitor regulatory and tax developments in the global equity capital markets and coordinate integrated business responses where needed (e.g., market alerts)
- Represent DR product and articulate DR project detail at regularly scheduled management forums
- Coordinate Third Party Oversight activities for DRs.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- DR knowledge / experience a plus
- Familiarity with Equities trading, Operations and Custody product
- Experience in Product Management or similar role
- Experience in managing response to risk and/or compliance demands/requests
- Bachelor's degree, with a concentration in business-related field preferred
- Ability to think critically and identify, research and solve problems independently
- Excellent communication / presentation skills and excellent writing ability
- Well-organized, detail-oriented team player, and strong work ethic
- Experience in partnering with IT teams in articulating vision for technology development
