Job Summary:
As a Securities Services - Agency Securities Finance Product Manager - Associate within the global Product Management team, you will partner closely with Trading, Client Management, Product Development, Technology, and Operations to deliver the full suite of product opportunities to our clients. Your core focus will be supporting the tax and regulatory agenda for the product, but you will also have the opportunity to work on a range of topics and projects.
Job responsibilities:

  • Involve in the day-to-day management and technical oversight of the tax support for the ASF product. This includes review and assessment of technical tax information, ongoing support of the tax rate database, together with the oversight and management of the interactions between ASF, Corporate Tax, Custody Tax, and other support groups.
  • Involve with the assessment and review of the regulatory agenda which impacts the ASF product. This will include working with internal Legal and Compliance together with participation in various industry initiatives and working groups.
  • Working with Compliance, Legal and Corporate Tax to obtain understand and action any technical information, legal advice and regulations which may impact the ASF programme.
  • Providing subject matter expertise to both internal and external clients of the ASF product.
  • Provide support to the vendor onboarding process specifically considering the commercial aspects of any arrangement for the ASF product.


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Strong tax or regulatory background, particularly within the securities finance or asset management industry.
  • Strong presentation skills and communication skills - Ability to organize, communicate with, and influence a range of audiences internally and externally; expectation to display exceptional logical writing and verbal communication skills, including ability to convey complex ideas simply
  • Strategic Thinking - Focus on superior strategic/break-through thinking
  • Relationship skills - ability to gain access to individuals within a wide range of functions in the organization; earn a reputation for integrity, intelligence and problem solving
  • Influencing skills - ability to promote ideas and initiatives that are critical to the success of the organization.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Experience in Financial Services particularly within a product management role
  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
