CYE is looking for a Sec-Ops Engineer to join our security team. As a sec-ops engineer,you’ll help fortify CYE’s own security posture, setup defence and monitoring capabilities, and investigate alerts from multiple security solutions.
Responsibilities
- Configure security solutions and their corresponding alerts
- Implement new security controls to protect our on-prem/cloud infrastructure
- Identify Security gaps and recommend on solutions to close them
- Help design the CYE’s monitoring capabilities
- Investigate on-going alerts
- Be part of an CYE’s internal IR team in case of an incident
- Support the development and implementation of processes, security policies, security foundations and security standards
- Support achieving security certificates and assist with GRC efforts
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience as a security engineer
- Experience with security controls e.g., EDR/XDR, DLP, CSPM,CNAPP, etc.
- Experience with Office365 & EntraID security controls
- Experience with implementing security monitoring procedures & systems
- Experience with securing cloud environments – AWS, Azure
- SOC Engineer experience – An advantage
- Security-related certifications – An advantage
