Seasonal Field Research Assistant
About the role…
The primary function of the Seasonal Field Research Assistant is to assist the soybean breeding and product team with soybean note taking in the field. The assistant will be needed from approximately June 9th through August 7th. This position will be located at the Inari farm
1532 N 900 W, Wolcott, IN 47995.
As a Seasonal Field Research Assistant, you will…
- Assist with field notes
- Soybean field scouting
- Perform soybean cross-pollinations in the field
- Assist with corn pollinations as available
- Assist with additional field work as needed

- Willingness to work outdoors in hot conditions
- Flexible schedule to allow for weather disruptions
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Patience and steady hands to make successful crosses
- Ability to sit on the ground or bend over to make crosses
