Role Summary:
The After Market Seal Repair Associate is responsible for providing support to our sales team regarding our aftermarket offerings. This position involves all customer facing activities related to the order procurement process including proposal development, specification and scope review, pricing analysis and coordination with multiple internal and external stakeholders, as well as visiting customer sites to understand requirements and present a proposal to improve seal performance.
Responsibilities:
- Performs tasks associated with new opportunities to improve assigned products and reduce product cost and/or lead times as planned.
- Understands and correctly interprets customer requirements to present/develop drawings to support technical proposal.
- Applies established Flowserve global and local standards for selection, performance and pricing of best solutions.
- Identifies the correct Flowserve solution to meet customer requirements for standard products.
- Provides assistance/support to the sales group at customer sites to replace or change gaskets.
- Collaborates in continuous improvement (CI) efforts.
- Ensures training and development plans are complete and aligned with manager.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or equivalent and/or 3-5 years of related experience relevant field.
- Technical skills and practical aptitude

- Basic project management tools and methods
- Responsibility and execution to complete work on time and according to specifications
- Basic computer tools, such as Windows, Microsoft Office products and other related tools.
