We are seeking a passionate Agile Scrum Master who truly enjoys delivering quality technology solutions. This person should be well-versed in Agile practices and Scrum events and should embody the core principles of Agile development. This role will help build an organizational culture of agility through evangelizing and coaching teams through the Scrum process utilizing an Agile/Lean approach.
Responsibilites:
- Facilitate the Scrum framework for one or two Scrum Teams
- Ensures the team embraces and upholds Agile values & principles
- Organizes and facilitates all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Backlog Refinement and Retro
- Motivates the Scrum Team to accomplish their sprint goals
- Identifies and drives removal of Scrum Team impediments
- Protects the team from obstacles to meeting Sprint goals
- DOES ANYTHING NECESSARY TO ENSURE DELIVERY OF TEAM OBJECTIVES WITHIN A PI
- DOES ANYTHING NECESSARY TO IMPROVE THE PERFORMANCE OF THE TEAM
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent education and work experience
- 3+ Years Agile experience
- 1+ Years of Scrum Master experience
- Scrum Master Certification (CSM or PSM) preferred
- Proven coach to individuals, teams and organizations
- Strong Scrum framework knowledge
- XP practices
- Kanban methodology
- Agile tooling (ADO, Jira, Rally, etc.)
- Agile reporting/metrics techniques
- Ability to work with teams across multiple sites and potentially offshore
- Ability to understand technical issues at a high level
- Understands commitment and accountability in an Agile context
- Experience working with Product Owners and managing Agile Product Backlogs
- Adept at giving and receiving effective feedback for growth
- Experience with SAFe preferred
- Experience with ALM tools preferred
