Scientist I, Protein Analytics (Developability)

Dragonfly Therapeutics is seeking an exceptional Scientist to join our Protein Analytics team. In this critical role, you will guide lead candidate identification and developability assessments of next-generation biologics, including multispecific molecules, cytokines, and novel agents targeting diseases such as cancer and autoimmune diseases (AID). By interrogating molecular properties, your work will forge the lifecycle of our therapeutic candidates, enabling their successful translation into the clinic and beyond.

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to): 

  • Lead biophysical and biochemical characterization to guide candidate selection and support the development of groundbreaking biologics
  • Perform and interpret advanced developability assessments, encompassing stability, aggregation, and manufacturability analyses
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with research, CMC, and clinical teams to ensure alignment in therapeutic development strategies
  • Maintain detailed, high-quality documentation in electronic laboratory notebooks, ensuring compliance and traceability

Qualifications: 

  • BS/MS with 6+ years relevant industrial experience in biotherapeutic characterization and development
  • Strong hands-on experience in protein characterization techniques such as SEC, HIC, IEX, CE-SDS, DSC, and cIEF
  • The candidate should be self-motivated, accountable, inquisitive, and have excellent organization and communication skill
