What You’ll Do…

  • Manage compound management workflows including compound registration, weighing of compounds, compound stock solution reformatting, curate compound inventories, liquid-liquid plate transfers, and archive storage.
  • Work closely with cross-functional chemistry, ADME, pharmacology, and biology teams to coordinate compound management activities to delivery of assay-ready plates in support of rapid optimization cycles and supporting HTS campaigns.
  • Maintain consumable supplies to ensure uninterrupted operations of workflows.
  • Interface with CROs and vendors for external compound inventories, purchasable compound orders, and shipments.
  • Manage instrument vendor relationships, continuously advancing and integrating novel workflows, and assist in troubleshooting the automation and software platforms.
  • Keep abreast of contemporary compound management practices and provide business case arguments to adopt new technologies.

What You Bring...

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree required in a scientific discipline with 10+ years of relevant laboratory experience, of which a minimum of 2-3 years of compound management experience.
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally with team members in chemistry, ADME, and in vitro pharmacology.
  • Extensive experience in operating and troubleshooting compound management automation platforms, liquid handling, acoustic dispensation, and periphery devices (i.e., tube sorting, 2D barcode scanning) is highly desired.
  • Experience with sample storage systems and integrations with liquid handlers/automation systems also highly desired.
  • Liquid handling scripting, automated workflow scheduling and software programming are major pluses.
  • Exceptional organization skills and detail orientated approach to planning and executing at the bench.
  • Documented sustained performance and demonstrated technical proficiency, scientific creativity, independent thought, and ability to effectively collaborate with others, add to project strategy & deliverables and participate in decision-making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
