Main responsibilities:

Responsible for the SC Relationship with Priority customers, with specific SC Engagement focus on the top-segment (VIP) customers. Ensuring the following are in place:

  • Regular SC Operational meetings.
  • Joint Scorecards.
  • Service Plans.
  • Value-tracking.
  • Satisfaction measures.
  • Clear & regular communications to internal/external stakeholders.

Collaboration with Global Customer Fulfilment CoE

  • Acts as local extension to Global Customer Fulfilment CoE, driving local execution of global strategy, providing coaching & support network to other local Customer Facing associates.  
  • Actively participants in Global Customer Fulfilment community, sharing local best practice & adopting best practice seen elsewhere.

Segmentation

  • Agree targets for value-creation & satisfaction.

Simplification

  • Drive development & execution of simplification plans.
  • Implement Automation tools (Copilot and Power Automate) to drive performance.
  • Ensure simplification benefits are realizable & tracked. 

Collaboration

  • Drive ‘level-up’ SC customer collaboration activity within Service Plans. Including: Brilliant Basics, trade terms, surcharge model & tactical collaborative opportunities.
  • Ensure that demonstrable value-tracking is in place.

Customer Experience

  • Ensure action plans are in place to address satisfaction gaps & are well tracked.
  • Drive Customer Ethnographer mindset in conjunction with Customer Engagement Specialists (studying the customer, learning about their environment & overall experience).

About you

Skills, experience and knowledge requirements

  • Senior level experience in a Supply Chain function.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team, whilst at the same time possessing the skills to perform some of the hands on activities.
  • Excellent knowledge of compliance in:
  • SOX.
  • Good Distribution Practice.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills, able to develop, understand and act on business KPI’s.
  • Strong in developing processes and system as well as using ERP, Business Intelligence tools and Microsoft Office. Excellent knowledge of compliance in SOX, and GDP.

Work Experience

  • Experience in a broad Supply Chain managerial role, within pharma or FMCG industry.
  • Knowledge of UK/Irish pharmaceutical market supply chain and trade customers.
  • In depth understanding of regulatory environment for pharmaceutical supply and dispensing.

Education and Training

  • Good standard of education, Educated to Degree level or equivalent professional qualification.
  • APICS certification desired.
