Group/Division

The Customer Engagement (CE) team is our field based, customer facing organization consisting of Technical Engagement Managers and Application Engineers. The team partners closely with our customers to provide a comprehensive portfolio of products, software, and expertise, to help customers manage yield throughout their fabrication process—from research and development to final volume production. Responsibilities of this group include maintaining strategic client relationships, partnering with our sales team in identifying and closing sales opportunities, ensuring our products meet performance capabilities & expectations, providing critical solutions for improved yield performance, and collecting requirements for future products by understanding customer processes and technology trends. Partnering with our sales organization and factory divisions, this diverse and dynamic team helps ensure alignment between customer needs and product offerings to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Job Description

  • Work closely with many organizations including engineering, sales and marketing within KLA and with customer engineers.
  • Responsible for providing technical applications support for the development and implementation of KLA products in customer fabrication facilities.
  • Conduct new product introduction projects. (e.g. product characterization, alpha testing, beta testing and pilot tool support in the ramp phase.)
  • Provide escalation support to onsite field service engineer; leading and coordinating remote/local troubleshooting.
  • Perform experiments to characterize tool/subcomponent performance and develop recipes to model applications.
  • Provide application support and training to customers.
  • Manage in-house customer demonstrations and head-to-head (H2H) activities at customer facilities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • MS or above degrees in Engineering, Physics, Material Science or Electronics.
  • MS +5Y / BS +7Y
  • Lithography, Optics related backgrounds are required.
  • Good communication skill in English.
