Job Description
Tasks:
- Strategic Solution Design and Implementation: Design and implement cutting-edge IT solutions focusing on sales logistics systems and processes, ensuring alignment with business needs, security, governance, and technology standards. You will shape the future of commercial architecture and development in the sales logistics area to enable innovative business models.
- Business and IT Alignment: Serve as a strategic consultant to business and product teams, guiding technical decisions to ensure a seamless alignment with business objectives, architectural frameworks, and the enterprise strategy.
- Architecture Standardization and Migration Expertise: Promote the standardization and reuse of IT products and services, including legacy SAP R/3 systems, to optimize resources. Lead and manage migration projects to newer platforms like SAP S/4HANA, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
- Solution Evaluation, Documentation, and Mentorship: Evaluate potential IT environments/solutions, plan their integration, document the architecture and processes, and provide guidance and mentorship to ERP development teams within the solution cluster. Share best practices to foster a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Consultancy and Advisory: Offer expert advice to business process owners on technical requirements and their business impact. Balance short-term needs against the long-term vision, providing a strategic roadmap for sales logistics systems evolution.
- Innovation and Research Leadership: Lead innovation within the sales logistics domain by researching and implementing new technologies and practices that can enhance business outcomes and support innovative business models.
- Collaborative Strategy Alignment: Collaborate closely with other IT architects to align the enterprise IT strategy with business objectives, ensuring a cohesive and strategic approach to technology and business model development.
Qualifications
Profile:
- Deep understanding of SAP ecosystems, including legacy SAP R/3 systems and SAP S/4HANA Sales, with a strong focus on sales logistics processes. Expertise in navigating and managing migrations from SAP R/3 to SAP S/4HANA is essential.
- Advanced Solution Architecture Proficiency: Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing solution architectures that align with complex business needs, security policies, and technological advancements, with a particular focus on enabling innovative business models in sales logistics.
- Ability to strategically align technology strategies with business missions, processes, and innovative business models, documenting this alignment through comprehensive architectural models.
- Capability to lead innovation and strategic research initiatives that identify and implement new technologies and methodologies, enhancing sales logistics systems and processes.
- Strong advisory and mentorship skills to guide ERP development teams and business and product teams through technical decisions, architectural considerations, and best practices.
- Exceptional communication, critical thinking, and decision-making skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and projects towards successful, innovative outcomes.
- Analytical and Complex Problem-Solving Skills: Advanced analytical thinking and complex problem-solving abilities to navigate challenges in sales logistics and IT architecture, driving strategic improvements.
- A focus on achieving high targets and implementing solutions that drive significant results, with a keen insight into customer and consumer needs. Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with other IT architects and stakeholders, aligning enterprise strategy with business objectives.
