Position Overview

We are looking for an SAP HANA Developer to join our engineering team in an Agile environment. This role is essential for delivering high-quality solutions through comprehensive analysis, coding, and testing. You will work closely with architects to establish clear requirements and drive effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand, analyze, and evaluate business requirements, translating them into functional and non-functional specifications.

  • Program Development: Analyze existing programs or devise logic for new systems, prepare flowcharts, configure systems, and conduct tests and rollouts to users.

  • Testing Solutions: Ensure that developed solutions meet business requirements and are fit for purpose by creating and executing detailed test plans.

  • Documentation: Create end-to-end process flow documentation and technical specifications for all developments.

  • Development Tasks: Design, build, and test SAP ERP application extensions using ABAP reports, function modules, classes, methods, BAPIs, BADIs, enhancements, ALE/IDOCs, and forms development (SAP Script, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms).

  • Collaboration: Utilize your analytical and technical skills to translate business needs into cohesive technical specifications while collaborating with developers and analysts across remote locations.

  • Performance Monitoring: Work closely with the Basis team to monitor application components for optimized performance.

  • Agile Participation: Actively engage in Agile activities such as daily standups and planning sessions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field is typically required.

  • Experience: Over 5 years of SAP ABAP experience in ECC & S/4 HANA (minimum 4 years specifically in HANA).

  • Project Lifecycle: At least 2-3 end-to-end SAP S/4 HANA project lifecycle experiences covering design, development, testing, data conversion, deployment, and production support.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong ABAP for HANA development skills including CDS Views and AMDPs.

    • Proficiency in interface development using BADIs, BAPIs, RFC calls, enhancements, function modules.

    • Familiarity with SAP FI/FICA and SD/CI business processes.

    • Experience in OO ABAP and BOPF implementations.

    • Knowledge of OData provisioning and Fiori design patterns.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP Web IDE or Eclipse IDE.

  • Familiarity with Fiori Launchpad configuration and standard Fiori 2.0 extensions.

  • Knowledge of ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC) and SQL Performance Tuning Worklist (SWLT).

  • Background in working with ERP/CRM systems (e.g., Siebel, SFDC) is advantageous.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills along with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
