Creoal Consulting is seeking a talented SAP HANA Database Administrator (DBA) with implementation and/or O&M experience. Creoal Consulting, a wholly owned subsidiary of SMX, is a leading-edge provider for full life cycle information technology, ERP support services, and Software as a Service (SaaS) to the Public Sector. We are rapidly growing our federal team of consultants and are looking for highly qualified SAP candidates. This position is a hybrid Washington DC based role. Candidates will be required to be onsite for occasional meetings with the customer.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of DHS ICE Federal Financial systems
- Manage system performance, upgrades, corrections, batch scheduling
- Manage client and landscape strategies
- Support technical upgrades
- Support functional and technical enhancements
- Install, upgrade and maintain SAP and SAP related software products
- Maintain SAP HANA database, perform patch and service stack upgrades
- Perform SAP software installation, maintenance and administration of servers running SAP systems, applications, and appliances
- Daily monitoring, administrating, troubleshooting and tuning of SAP systems
- Schedule and perform system backups
- Support the user community
- Work as part of a cross-functional implementation team
Required Skills/Experience:
- Ability to install SAP HANA
- Experience with data provisioning, administration, and modeling
- Ability to perform database upgrades
- Ability to apply fix packs and patches
- Ability to optimize and tune databases
- Experience with and strong knowledge of backup and restore strategies, database security, database problem determination and resolution
- Experience scheduling and performing regular backups
- Experience Implementing high availability and backup mechanisms
- Experience managing security, including user management and authorizations
- Experience monitoring and administering database tracing and auditing
- A minimum of 4 to 6 years of SAP DBA experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal clearance (US citizenship required)
- Bachelor's Degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Master's Degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
- Experience working with DHS and or ICE
