The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable SAP Finance & Controlling Business Support Analyst to enhance our operational effectiveness and efficiency through expert management of business systems and applications. The Opportunity

In this dynamic role, you will leverage your advanced expertise in SAP to delve deeply into financial data and provide invaluable insights to end-users for optimal implementation of solutions. You will employ your fundamental understanding of concepts, practices, and procedures to deliver exceptional analytical support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Finance and Controlling Teams: Provide essential assistance in the areas of Finance and Controlling, ensuring seamless operations.

  • SAP FI Module Management: Execute requests related to SAP FI (Fixed Asset, GL closing, Financial Accounting, Bank/Payment/Treasury) and manage module configurations through a ticketing tool.

  • Incident Handling: Address and resolve incoming incidents, supporting both Roche Affiliates and various IT departments globally and regionally.

  • ITIL Methodology: Evaluate and prioritize user requests based on ITIL principles, ensuring timely IT responses.

  • SAP Configuration: Maintain both soft and hard configurations in SAP, with a focus on critical background table updates.

  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Foster effective collaboration among team members across different countries and functional assignments.

  • Training and Rollouts: Support rollouts, coordinate training, and prepare for events in collaboration with local key-users and SMEs.

  • Liaison Role: Serve as the vital link between local and global business teams, and act as a liaison between local business and IT professionals.

  • Process Improvement: Provide leadership and consultancy for the implementation and enhancement of global best practice processes in SAP Finance and Controlling.

  • Change Management: Review local change requests, support the change management process, and facilitate the introduction of changes with necessary documentation.

Who You Are

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled candidate with the following qualifications and attributes:

  • SAP Expertise: Minimum of 2 years' experience in SAP modules (FI, MM, CO, AA, SD) is essential.

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • Technical Solutions: Ability to implement technical solutions addressing business needs effectively.

  • Analytical Skills: Proficient in analyzing and resolving business situations.

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.

  • Customer-Centric: Strong customer centricity and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Team Player: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Desirable Experience:

    • 3-5 years of finance and accounting experience.

    • Project management experience.

    • Onsite experience with affiliates.

    • Understanding of Master Data basics.
