The Central Client Management Team, responsible for customer administration and processes within Nationale-Nederlanden, is looking for an experienced SAP Business Partner DevOps Engineer. Our digital products are used by various NN business units and affect almost the entire organization.
You will develop new software for further integration of our customer functions, such as new connections, REST APIs for data retrieval, Fiori Apps for a better user experience, and workflow adjustments in our central customer processes. We attach great importance to the use of the latest technologies, such as SAP HANA or the future S4-HANA upgrade.
Due to the high integration of our SAP module within the organization, communication within the team and with our stakeholders is essential.
What you are going to do
As a multi-skilled DevOps Engineer in the SAP domain, you are responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving our SAP applications. You work in a DevOps team and are involved in all aspects of the software development cycle, from analysis and design to implementation and management.
You work closely with the Product Owner and the development team to translate customer needs and requirements into concrete solutions. You analyze, design, build, and test new features and improvements to existing SAP applications. Additionally, you are responsible for monitoring and maintaining these applications, including integration with other systems and the implementation of new releases.
You are also a sparring partner for the Product Owner and contribute to roadmap and sprint planning. You have a proactive and solution-oriented attitude and enjoy thinking about how SAP applications can be used even better.
In addition, you work on different SAP components such as SAP BP, HANA, SAP BTP, REST API, SAP Workflows, and Fiori. Therefore, it is important that you have experience with these technologies and that you are well aware of the latest developments within the SAP domain. You have a strong drive to continue developing yourself and to keep up with the latest developments in the field of SAP.

Who you are
Completed IT Bachelor's or Master's degree and more than 5 years of experience as an SAP DevOps Engineer
- You are very enthusiastic about innovation of SAP services that enable our end users to carry out their processes
- You have both an IT and business-oriented way of thinking and working
- Experience with programming (ABAP, Fiori, Workflows, APIs, etc.)
- Experience working in DevOps teams and with Scrum, preferably in the financial and/or insurance industry
- Good command of Dutch and English language in both spoken and written communication
- For this job it is required to be able to speak and write Dutch fluently
