Team Description
Sabre is seeking a talented Basis Administrator to support the Basis Team. This person will report to the Manager of Basis Team
At Sabre, we’re passionate about building software that solves problems. In this role you will be responsible for the management, support, and optimization of our SAP landscape. This team plays a critical role in ensuring that our SAP systems are reliable, secure, and performant, enabling seamless business operations across the organization.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Monitor system performance and resolve bottlenecks to optimize operation.
- Manage transport requests and oversee the movement of changes across landscapes.
- Apply patches and upgrades to maintain system security and performance.
- Work with functional teams to support application issues and system enhancements.
- Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Analyze system usage and recommend upgrades based on future needs.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in SAP Basis administration or related roles.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP Basis administration tools and technologies. Experience with system installations, upgrades, and performance tuning. Knowledge of database management (e.g., HANA, Oracle, ASE) is a plus.
- Certifications: SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate) preferred.
- Proficient English, both written and verbal
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
