Job Description
ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Execution of the SAP BI strategy aligning with business goals and objectives.
  • Create and deliver analytics and planning products based on SAP cloud technology (SAP Analytics Cloud and DataSphere).
  • Provide support and collaboration for and represent demand management processes to secure the Planning / Analytics roadmap and pipeline.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications for SAP BI solutions.
  • Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that features and enhancements are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Manage related budget and projects to ensure that financial objectives are met and on track.
  • Oversee the acquisition and management of contractors and internal resources to deliver services.
  • Lead requirements gathering workshops, develop functional specifications, facilitate system development/configuration, and manage all phases of SAP Analytics Cloud implementations.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure the successful implementation of BI solutions.
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates to the BI product roadmap.
  • Ensure data integrity and quality by overseeing the design and implementation of data models and ETL processes.
  • Lead the definition and management of system-based metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and support service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure system availability is maintained and monitored.
  • Provide training and support to end-users to maximize the value of SAP BI tools.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance our BI capabilities.
  • Understand business outcomes to ensure solutions are aligned with Takeda priorities and values.
  • Set priorities, manage stakeholder expectations, and develop and execute an associated plan of action.


EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP BI product ownership or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP BI tools including SAP BW, SAP BusinessObjects, SAP HANA, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
  • Strong knowledge in Datasphere
  • Proven experience in project management and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare industries.
  • Professional certifications in SAP BI or related areas.
  • Familiarity with data governance and compliance regulations.
