The Opportunity
You will create a delightful and inspiring shopping experience for guests at the Garnet Hill retail store where visitors can touch, feel, and purchase our women’s apparel and products for the home made from nature’s finest fibers including cashmere, linen, and organic cotton. As the Sales/Receiving Lead, you will focus on the operational activities that grow the business. You will also promote the Garnet Hill brand at every guest encounter and ensure you exemplify the brand values, standards, and experiences.
The hire location is Dedham, MA – onsite.

To support this exciting retail growth, we are looking for a motivated, team-oriented individual to join our retail team and lead our entry into bricks and mortar retail. If this sounds like you, we need to meet you!
This new position will report to the Store Manager.
Your Impact
Inventory Management:
- Ownership of merchandise flow processes, including inspecting and receiving new merchandise, entering data into inventory management system and stockroom organization.
- Partnering with Garnet Hill Corporate, oversee inventory levels, ensuring that the store is adequately stocked with the correct product.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize shrinkage and ensure inventory accuracy
Business Management/Guest Experience:
- Actively participates as floor service leader by facilitating an energized pace, positive service environment, communication of daily sales goals and key metrics that drives store demand
- Actively participate in store leadership meetings ensuring strong communication among the team is present
- Assure all areas of the store meet company safety standards of cleanliness and provide a safe work and shopping environment.
- Support and improve retail sales and profitability by creating the most amazing place to work and shop by delivering an exceptional guest experience.
What You Bring
- 1-2 years of shipping and receiving management experience in a specialty retail industry, preferred
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and POS systems.
- Ability to be mobile on the salesfloor and stockroom for an extended period of time.
- Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 50 lbs.
- The successful candidate must be a dynamic leader, strategic thinker, and highly motivated.
