About the Salesforce Program

Currently, the focus is on Czech Republic, Romania, and Spain where modules such as Marketing Cloud, Financial Services Cloud and Experience Cloud are being implemented.
About the role
As a Salesforce DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in setting up, maintaining, and continuously developing our Salesforce continuous build and integration infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on test automation. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining fully automated CI build processes across multiple Salesforce environments, as well as writing and managing build and deployment scripts.
Your main responsibilities would be to:
- Participate as the DevOps expert within the Salesforce program providing developing and maintaining deployment pipelines and related infrastructure to ensure seamless deployments to multiple salesforce orgs from development to production.
- Development within Agile/Scrum/DevOps methodologies utilizing Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery practices by using tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, GitLab CI, Bamboo, VSTS, GearSet, Jenkins, Puppet, Provar, etc..
- Review code quality using static code analysis as well as code coverage to enforce the salesforce program best practice development standards and security guidelines
- Collaborate with business application owners with planning the development and delivery of new features and enhancements to support internal needs, focused on CI/CD and Test Automation
- Run and automate data deployments to lower environments (sandboxes and scratch orgs) to enable efficient and consistent testing
- Define DevOps KPIs such as release velocity, lead time to track teams performance and speed of delivery
- Keep an eye on Salesforce quarterly releases and advices capabilities on critical changes and updates about to be released into our salesforce ecosystem
- Plan, implement and govern release cycle best practices including version control , branching mechanisms and code merging
Your profile
- Working experience with Salesforce DX cli tool and packaging methodologies
- At least 3 years experience developing on the Salesforce platform with an understanding of metadata types
- One or more certifications in Salesforce is an added advantage
- Experience with YAML scripting and at least one object-oriented programming language, such as Apex, C#, C++
- Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Automated testing tools (GitLab CI, Bamboo, Jenkins, Puppet, Provar, etc..), incl. Azure DevOps
- Detail-oriented and ability to manage multiple work efforts with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experienced in Agile/Scrum/DevOps methodology, and the development of associated artifacts (i.e., implement user stories, acceptance criteria).
