Position Summary: The Salesforce Developer is responsible for developing and modifying high-quality customer software solutions for a large and rapidly growing organization. The Salesforce Developer is a hands-on professional role requiring strong technical aptitude and current Salesforce development tool skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strong understanding of our business processes and our typical and atypical customer journeys.
  • Track and report on the status of Features, User Stories, and Bugs assigned to the Engineering team within Microsoft Azure DevOps.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor system development processes that comply with General IT Controls and respect Separation of Duties (SOD) in compliance with SOX guidelines.
  • Develop strong working relationships with Product, Quality Assurance, and Infrastructure teams to facilitate cross-team communication and collaboration.
  • Perform support and maintenance tasks to address production issues reported by business users.
  • Ensure that all applications are well documented, thoroughly tested, and debugged and adhere to corporate and industry best practices.


Experience and Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 4+ years of experience designing and implementing application solutions.
  • 1+ years of experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud.
  • Experience in the full application life cycle.
  • Experience in agile software development methodology.
  • Excellent analytic, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Direct experience working on CRM projects for middle-market and enterprise-size companies.
  • Experience and expertise in core web technologies, including HTML5, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Software engineering skills with Force.com Platform (Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, Unit Testing), Java SE & EE (Java, JSF, SQL).
  • Experience with Salesforce Flows, Triggers, and Validations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels to communicate with internal and external stakeholders articulately.
  • Ability to provide timely and empathetic service through all communication channels, keeping peer and customer needs first.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).


Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Certifications:

  • Experience with Salesforce Field Service Management and Salesforce Platform events.
  • Experience with Flosum.
  • Experience with APIs and integrations.
  • Azure DevOps (ADO) and GitHub.
  • Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I. Additional Salesforce certifications e.g., Certified Salesforce Administrator, Certified JavaScript Developer.

  • No travel required.

  • Additional hours may be required (exempt positions).


Physical Requirements:

  • Normal office environment.
  • Performs indoor work in a climate-controlled environment.
  • Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
