Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Lead Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SFCC development with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience, 5+ years of Salesforce platform expertise, and a total of 7+ years of industry experience. This role involves designing, developing, and delivering world-class e-commerce solutions, mentoring team members, and driving technical excellence in projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development & Implementation:
- Lead the end-to-end development of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) solutions, including architecture, customizations, integrations, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and maintainable e-commerce solutions.
- Implement and enhance storefront features, including catalogs, checkout flows, promotions, and personalized experiences.
Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring best practices in SFCC and Salesforce implementations.
- Perform code reviews, enforce quality standards, and optimize performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Partner with other Salesforce teams (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud) for seamless integration and system alignment.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on the latest SFCC and Salesforce developments and industry trends.
- Recommend and implement improvements to enhance system performance and user experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) development experience.
- 5+ years of overall Salesforce platform experience.
- 7+ years of total professional experience in software development.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SFCC frameworks, including ISML templates, pipelines, and scripts.
- Expertise in SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture).
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and server-side JavaScript.
- Experience with SFCC Business Manager configurations, catalogs, promotions, and pricing.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, SOAP, and integrations with third-party services.
- Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and mentor teams effectively.
