The Role: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Full Stack Developer

We are looking for a Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) expert with strong full-stack development skills to design, develop, and maintain high-performing marketing solutions.

Opportunity:

This role will focus on building and optimizing automated marketing campaigns, integrating SFMC with other Salesforce Clouds, and developing custom solutions to enhance our marketing technology stack.

This is a high-impact, hands-on technical role requiring deep knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and front-end technologies.

Objectives:

1. Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Development & Integration

  • Design, implement, and manage automated marketing campaigns across email, SMS, and social media using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).

  • Develop custom solutions in SFMC using AMPscript, SSJS (Server-Side JavaScript), SQL, and REST API.

  • Integrate Salesforce Marketing Cloud with Salesforce Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and third-party applications.

  • Create and manage Journey Builder workflows, Automation Studio processes, and data extensions.

  • Develop personalized marketing strategies leveraging customer data segmentation and analytics.

2. Full Stack Development & Customization

  • Build and optimize custom components on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).

  • Develop front-end solutions using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and Sass, ensuring a seamless customer experience.

  • Improve page performance, user experience (CX), and campaign responsiveness through advanced front-end optimization.

3. Platform Optimization & Technical Leadership

  • Optimize SFMC workflows, troubleshoot issues, and enhance system performance.

  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and efficiency of Salesforce-driven marketing campaigns.

  • Stay up to date with Salesforce releases, new SFMC features, and industry best practices to keep our solutions at the forefront.

4. Collaboration, Best Practices & Mentorship

  • Work closely with marketing teams, analysts, and developers to translate business needs into Salesforce solutions.

  • Ensure adherence to best practices in CI/CD pipelines, GitHub version control, and DevOps.

  • Participate in code reviews, provide technical mentorship, and contribute to the team's growth.

Competencies:

  • 9+ years of Salesforce development experience, with a strong focus on Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).

  • Deep expertise in AMPscript, SSJS, SQL, REST/SOAP APIs, and Marketing Cloud Connect.

  • Hands-on experience with Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, and Data Extensions.

  • Strong knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components.

  • Front-end proficiency: HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Sass, with experience in CSS minification and optimization.

  • Expertise in Salesforce ecosystem integrations (SFMC + Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, or external APIs).

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub version control, DevOps practices.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimize Salesforce Marketing Cloud automation and workflows.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Salesforce Certifications (e.g., SFMC Specialist, Admin, PD1) are a big plus.

  • Experience with marketing analytics, AI-powered personalization, or predictive modeling.

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management tools.
