Precisely is seeking a dynamic and curious Sales Tools & Process Manager to identify and drive business improvement initiatives for the software sales team. This role demands a high-energy, well-organized, collaborative, and inclusive team member, that works principally as a liaison between Revenue Operations and IT to deliver optimal tools and processes for the software sales team. This role requires a creative, analytical and pro-active problem solver that is passionate about increasing sales efficiency and experience. They will work across teams to gather and assess business requirements that require technical solutions that are suitable, scalable and deliver required business outcomes.
The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strong business acumen and technical understanding to design and develop business processes, alongside experience in providing operational program support to drive business improvements. Possessing a strong analytical background, they will be a persistent advocate of process workflows that are standardized, consistent and optimal in a software setting.

What you will do:
- Document best practice on systems and processes utilized by sales teams, including perspective on current vs. desired state.
- Provide operational and program support to IT systems initiatives that impact the sales teams.
- Be the voice of the business and offer perspective to suggested technical solutions, including user acceptance criteria and stakeholder sign-off.
- Identify blockers and current challenges, making recommendations to drive improvements in tools and processes in an enterprise wide setting.
- Document required business outcomes so that they can be assessed and solutioned by technical teams.
- Consider upstream and downstream procedures and colleagues when evaluating solutions, including use cases and business priorities.
- Facilitate change management for sales teams on systems and process improvements.
- Contribute to developing a culture steeped in curiosity, openness and collaboration.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Master’s degree in business, technology or similar discipline preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in business or sales operations, with a significant portion within the software sales environment.
- At least 7 years of experience with Salesforce. Bonus points for experience in Clari, Tableau and other CRM tools.
- Experience with driving improvement and scale with sales/business-facing IT applications in enterprise software.
- Solid business acumen, communication, program management, problem-solving, presentation and relationship-building skills, with a focus on software sales.
