Job Description

As the Sales Support Advisor, you will collaborate with our Field Sales teams and Customers to generate price proposals for our Lighting products and Connected services. Your role will ensure that services comply with standards, quality, and efficiency, while also identifying opportunities to improve performance and enhance the customer experience.

Main responsibilities within the job:
Generate professional quote offerings in a timely manner, to scope, quality, budget and to customers vision.
Develop an understanding of our products and service offerings, and guide our customers on available solutions. Work alongside the Field Sales Team to identify gaps and increase market share with upselling of products & services. Oversee and support the input of all project and pipeline opportunities into the CRM platform to ensure product and resource availability in line with customer and project requirements.
Maintaining positive business relationships with our Customers to support queries, conversion of opportunities and future sales.
From time to time, there might need to be support in processing sales orders with deliveries made on time to meet our Install team and customer expectations.
Keep all information up to date and accurate within CRM and ERP system, ensuring data accuracy on scheduling, and acknowledging of revenue into the business.
Regularly inform your line manager on progress of area, status of key customers and opportunities to develop by reviewing performance reports and analysing data to provide feedback and put in place action plans to close gaps with SMART objectives.
Work in partnership with the whole of the Commercial Operations team to ensure a collaborative and seamless approach to always deliver excellent customer experience.


Knowledge and Skills:

Ability to manage a fast-paced team

Experience in a similar role

Excellent Communication - verbal and written with the ability to work with people at all levels.

Highly organised with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.

Experience in working in a dynamic sales / commercial environment.

Proven problem solving and analytical skills.

Effective time management with the ability to highlight and be accountable to resolve problems.

Excellent attention to detail

Believes in continuous improvement.

The ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with both customers and internal / external stakeholders to ensure a collaborative approach that delivers positive and sustainable results.




Qualifications

Educated to A Level or equivalent
Experience in a customer facing support role. Generating of sales proposals.

Additional Information

Salary £26.5k to £28k -depending on experience.
