CIC Philadelphia, located at 3675 Market Street within uCity Square, partners with the University City Science Center to support innovation and entrepreneurship. We offer world-class offices and one of the largest shared wet lab facilities in the U.S. Our labs provide science startups with the space, equipment, and support they need to focus on their work, while we handle operational details, logistics, and safety protocols. Together with the Science Center, we help accelerate businesses from idea to IPO and beyond, serving Philadelphia’s startups and entrepreneurs.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WORK
As a key member of our Sales & Relationship Management Team, you’ll be the face of CIC to prospective clients, helping them discover workspace solutions tailored to their needs. You’ll represent a service and product that people genuinely love and trust, with the opportunity to build strong relationships that last well beyond the initial handshake.
Here’s how you’ll spend your days:
• Own the Sales Pipeline: From qualifying inbound leads to identifying new opportunities, you’ll be the go-to person for building and managing a thriving sales pipeline.
• Be a Trusted Consultant: Help clients navigate their workspace needs and find solutions that set them up for success.
• Show Off Our Spaces: Lead engaging tours that highlight the unique benefits of working at CIC, ensuring every prospect sees how we can meet their needs.
• Drive Growth: Build relationships with brokers, businesses, and community leaders to generate leads, close deals, and contribute to revenue growth.
• Collaborate and Strategize: Work closely with the Sales Director to define and implement sales strategies that help the team exceed its goals.
• Foster Connections: Build and nurture relationships that integrate CIC into the fabric of the local innovation community.
• Deliver Exceptional Service: Ensure every client interaction is seamless, positive, and memorable.
ABOUT YOU
You’re a people person with a knack for building relationships and making things happen. You thrive in fast-paced environments and love taking ownership of your work.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate these traits and/or possess these skills:
• Tech-Savvy: Skilled in using technology and CRM tools, such as Hubspot, to enhance sales efforts.
• Collaborative: Be a team player who values collaboration and knows how to work well with others.
• Organized & Multitasking Pro: Can juggle priorities and keep everything running smoothly.
• Exceptional Communicator: Demonstrate strong writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Driven & Entrepreneurial: Are not afraid of a challenge and bring an innovative mindset to everything you do.
• Community-Oriented: Are passionate about building relationships and supporting your local innovation ecosystem.
YOU HAVE
• At least 1–2 years experience in sales, with a proven track record in cold calling, emailing, and prospecting.
• Strong relationship-building skills and a natural ability to connect with people.
• Experience with sales techniques such as cold calling, prospecting, and CRM management.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities while staying organized and detail-oriented.
• A collaborative mindset and the drive to work toward team goals.
OUR OFFER
• Starting compensation is $58,565.

• 3 weeks vacation from the start (more with seniority), plus thirteen paid holidays.
