We’re looking for smart and ambitious people to join our team of Content Developers (Account Executive). As a Sales Content Coordinator you’ll be responsible for contacting potential clients and developing tailored custom content to meet their unique business objectives. You’ll ensure a steady sales pipeline is available for quarterly journal publication. Successful CCs will move up the compensation plan throughout their first year and immediately increase earnings.
What You’ll Do as the Content Developer:
- Call and email at least 80 potential clients daily for features in one of our quarterly industry journals: Blueprint, Vanguard, Toggle, Maneuver, Spaces, Vision, or Terra Firma
- Present Trueline’s journal-specific benefits while overcoming objections and identifying smokescreens
- Effectively follow sales scripting
- Utilize cold calling, email, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Salesforce to generate new sales opportunities (leads are provided)
- Secure and schedule client pitch calls.
- Develop content and themes in real time on interviews
- Relay useful business information and insights to Writing staff
- Be an active presence in industry-specific networks
- Stay abreast of industry trends and changes
You’ll Succeed at Trueline if You:
- Have at least six months experience in both cold calling and performance-based sales roles
- Background in sales related to the Construction or Legal industries are a plus
- Background in journalism or interviewing is a plus
- Enjoy the rigor of outbound sales and pushing for more wins each day
- Confidently connect with others, whether it’s via phone, email, or in-person
- Commit to mastering your craft and achieving your goals, whatever they may be
- Are humble enough to learn and hungry enough to push past your limits while doing so
- Have ever called yourself, or been called, cool and competitive (and being the optimal word there, no sore losers please)
- Thrive on feedback from coaches and making daily improvements in your work
- Have an entrepreneurial spirit while still preferring structure and clearly defined parameters
- Have a degree from an accredited 4-year college or university.

Compensation: $60,000 – $100,000 On Target Earnings (Salary of $44k + Uncapped Commission) + $6,000 - $24,000 bonus potential
