Your Role:

Reporting to the Director of Sales Operations, the Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for Sales interaction with Operations & Supply Chain including weekly POs, internal systems and performance scorecards supporting these efforts, and creating processes around existing gaps. This position will be a key contributor to the sales organization and will be charged with cross functional support around customer order efficiency and accuracy, order guides, and navigating various reports and IT systems to ensure cohesion between Supply Chain, Demand planning, Customer Supply Chain and Sales.  The perfect person for this role is an extreme problem solver able to put processes in place and adjust. 

What You'll Do:

Lead the sales crew through all interactions of getting product setup, ordered & delivered including:  

  • Any operational projects and pain points involving Supply Chain & Operations 
  • Weekly Allocation Process  
  • Streamline and standardize sales processes, ensuring they are efficient and aligned with cross functional teams.
  • Communicating detail and the resolution during operational challenges ensuring a successful implementation cross functionally within operations
  • Managing the process around New Customer Setup within our Systems
  • System Maintenance for Sales Reports in Power BI, Ship to Reporting and Key Insights (NOT consumption based)
  • Managing Customer Scorecards regarding Operational Aspects
  • Updating the terms and conditions around maintenance processes
  • Customizing customer letters specific to allocation or operational changes
  • Establish and maintain SOP and RASCI documents to align cross-functional groups 

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Passion for ethical and nutritious food and purpose-driven brands
  • BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field; certification in sales, finance, operations a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, sales operations, supply chain or relevant field in Consumer-Packaged Goods required 
  • Ability to travel 20% as needed for company and team meetings, onboarding and other business needs 
  • MS Office skills with expertise in excel
  • Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven experience in sales operations, distribution, and cross functional problem-solving
  • Past experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power BI a plus

At Vital Farms, compensation decisions are dependent upon a variety of factors, which may include, but are not limited to, skill level, experience, education, training, market demands, and business needs. A reasonable estimate of the current starting annual base salary for this position is $100,000 - $120,000. Please keep in mind that hiring at the maximum end of the range would not be typical in order to allow for potential continued future salary growth.
