Job Summary
FreeWheel is seeking a strategic Manager, Sales Marketing to spearhead our marketing initiatives for supply-facing technologies. Based in New York City, you will drive growth within our premium video ecosystem by developing targeted strategies for publishers, distributors, OEMs, Retail Media Networks, and technology partners. Responsibilities include: sales enablement, competitive positioning, client engagement, development of data to support sales efforts, customer segmentation, and client education. This role is designed to be a critical function for company growth and will need to combine advertising industry experience with ad tech industry know-how while having a strong commercial and marketing sense. The role will partner across the organization, working with our sales, product, partnerships, and broader marketing teams to put in place programs, strategies, and materials that will tell our story to the market and our customers. The role will require urgency and action in a fast-paced environment, while having the steady professional presence necessary at FreeWheel. Above all else, the candidate will need to be a strong team player who can work through complexity to get the job done.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities

  • With Marketing and Revenue leadership, develop and execute marketing strategies that drive client retention and expansion
  • Contribute to a team of marketing professionals to meet and exceed marketing goals.
  • Partner with the larger marketing team to craft messaging and campaigns that position our supply tech and programmatic solutions effectively in the market.
  • Develop and drive marketing strategies and executions in conjunction with related departments - Revenue, Brand Marketing, Product Marketing, etc. - to reinforce our leadership and change perceptions when necessary.
  • Design and implement client engagement programs that deepen relationships with key accounts.
  • Execute content development, digital campaigns, and thought leadership initiatives to attract supply-side clients and drive incremental volume from existing clients.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to optimize go-to-market strategies, improve sales performance, and ensure consistent brand messaging.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, innovations, and competitive offerings in the programmatic space.
  • Work closely with the product marketing and revenue teams to advocate for client needs and inform product development.
  • Monitor key performance metrics (revenue, client growth, retention) to ensure team and organizational goals are met.
  • Generate industry intelligence (client and competitive) with a focus on the messaging, trends, rebuttals, FAQs, etc.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4-6+ years of experience in sales/marketing, with a focus on video advertising or ad tech - publisher or distributor experience strongly preferred
  • Understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, including programmatic preferred.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and thrive under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to lead trainings/presentations.
  • Ability to simplify complex ideas for general understanding.
  • Ability to prioritize and focus on the projects that will have the biggest revenue impact.
  • A passion for advertising and media - and where it is going next.
  • Operate with a "We over Me" mentality to win as a team.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Salary:
Primary Location Pay Range: $110,747.52 - $166,121.28
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus. Bachelor's Degree
While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
