We are seeking a highly strategic and results-driven sales professional to join our team as a trusted advisor to customers and prospects within the K-12 vertical. In this role, you will play a critical part in helping K-12 institutions integrate Study.com’s solutions across the full spectrum of their educational initiatives, driving meaningful impact for educators and students alike.

The ideal candidate has an intimate knowledge of K12 schools and districts with a significant focus of selling district-wide solutions. You are a process-driven sales leader with a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets. You will be entering a mature territory with large national district and enterprise clients ripe for growth.

What You’ll Do:  

  • Aggressively hunt new business opportunities and drive to a timely close. Candidate will inherit a warm, active pipeline of over $1M in prospect opportunities.
  • Drive customer retention and renewal growth from a market portfolio of over $500K in existing K12 business, including several 6-figure annual contracts.
  • Use your knowledge of the Education sector to consult and support the prospective partners, with the goal of helping them educate their student populations.  
  • Build relationships across all levels of schools and districts and use data-driven insights to support investment recommendations or overcome customer objections.   
  • Be disciplined in Territory and Account Planning, Forecasting, and Quota Attainment. 
  • Follow best practices when using CRM and other tools to manage the sales cycle.   
  • Consistently meet and exceed assigned KPIs, including but not limited to lead generation and conversion, pipeline growth, time to close, close rate and revenue targets.  
  • Act as the voice of Study.com's Partnerships organization, deliver our message, and drive home how valuable education is to learners and school districts. 
  • Travel required:field visits per quarter and attendance at regional conferences as needed.  

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

  • 5-8 years of applicable sales/partnership experience within K12 schools and districts. 
  • A record of past achievement, including the ability to spearhead conversations, deals, strategic initiatives, and manage senior-level/executive external stakeholders. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills balanced with creative problem-solving abilities. 
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong ability to manage a portfolio of opportunities through a sales process, with a timely close and accurate forecast.
  • Demonstrated competence in excelling within a fluid and innovative entrepreneurial atmosphere
  • Ability to orchestrate the closure of business with an accurate understanding of prospect needs. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced and changing environment while maintaining the necessary sales acumen that drives growth and transparency across Study.com. 

Nice to Have:  

  • Experience in Test Prep and K12 Curriculum sales
  • Experience with SaaS products or services.  
  • Experience with an e-learning business.  
  • Ability to gather and use data to inform decision making and persuade others.  

The base pay for this role is $100,000 with an OTE of $165,000.
